AVANTEXT ANNOUNCES LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH MOONEY AIRCRAFT CORP. Technical Documents from Mooney To Be Published and Distributed Within Industry Standard Format – Avantext TechPubs CDs READING, PA—MAY 29,2001: Worldwide electronic document publisher Avantext, Inc. (www.avantext.com) announced that it has won approval and license to publish the technical publications for propeller driven aircraft manufactured by Mooney Aircraft Corp. The company has released the first Two of Five TechPubsTTM CDs for Mooney Aircraft during the second quarter of 2001. The CD publications include maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, wiring diagrams, installation manuals, service instructions, service bulletins, and other documents related to maintaining an aircraft. The TechPubs CDs from Avantext, are mastered for viewing in the Adobe® Acrobat Reader software, the latest version of which is distributed with the product, where a user can view the original paper documentation. According to Davison, “Aircraft mechanics, engineers, owners, pilots and inspectors currently pull the paper document from the shelf, or open up the microfiche reader and look for the information they seek.” He said, “ The Avantext TechPub CD system eliminates the need for filing Microfiche pages, looking through torn or tattered pages in a book, or even trying to find the latest revision that may or may not have been received.
