AVANTEXT ANNOUNCES LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH CESSNA AIRCRAFT COMPANY Technical Documents from Cessna to be Published and Distributed Within Industry Standard Format - Avantext TechPubs CDs READING, PA - July 26, 2001: Worldwide electronic document publisher Avantext, Inc. (www.avantext.com) proudly announces that it is now licensed to reproduce and distribute the technical publications for propeller driven aircraft manufactured by Cessna Aircraft Company. According to Matt Davison, Director of Business Development for Avantext, "This recent success is the latest and greatest by Avantext in producing interactive CD-ROM publications and software tools for the aviation industry." Avantext will be releasing the first two of nine TechPubs CDs for Cessna Aircraft during the third quarter of 2001. The addition of the Cessna CD-ROM products into the Avantext product line will enhance the existing Avantext TechPubs CDs libraries, which include Piper Aircraft, Lycoming Engines, Bell Helicopters, Mooney Aircraft and Maule Aircraft. The CD-ROM TechPubs for Cessna Propeller Aircraft will include complete and current manuals, including both regular and 'Temporary Revisions' as well as the Service Bulletins, as required for aircraft maintenance by the FAA. The TechPubsCDs from Avantext are mastered for the user to view the original paper documentation just as the manufacturer produces the page. Aircraft mechanics, engineers, owners, pilots and inspectors currently view the paper document from the shelf, or open up the microfiche reader and spend countless hours searching for the information they seek. One of the many benefits of the Avantext TechPubs CD system is the elimination of the need for filing Microfiche pages, looking through torn or tattered pages in a book, or even trying to find the latest revision that may have been misplaced or misfiled. By maintaining originality to the manufacturers documents, we don't change, alter, re-type, or re-create any of the original publications.
