Avantext Gives New "Sort" to Airworthiness Directives New Airworthiness Directives Libraries Available READING, PA—FEBRUARY 11, 2002: Avantext, Inc. (www.avantext.com) proudly announces that new libraries are now available for the Airworthiness Directive CD product. Avantext produces interactive CD-ROM publications and software tools for the general aviation industry and has distributed the Airworthiness Directive CD for the past 10 years. Today's announcement is great news for existing users and potential users who want a more robust and targeted product. Customers have been asking for this new assortment and today, Avantext can provide them with just that - a choice! With this new set of libraries, customers can order documentation to fit their individual shop requirements. The new libraries deliver the Airworthiness Directive product in four optional versions: Basic, Small Aircraft (defined as under 12,500 lbs.), Large Aircraft (defined as over 12,500 lbs.) and Complete (both Large and Small aircraft). The Airworthiness Directive product provides the Authorized Inspection rated Mechanics with the required regulatory documentation to maintain their certificates. The library includes the following documentation: all Airworthiness Directives (ADs) from 1943 forward, the largest assortment of AD-Related Service Bulletins (SBs) available on the market, maintenance related Advisory Circulars (ACs), Code of Federal Regulations (FARs), FAA Orders, Manufacturers Minimum Equipment Lists (MMELs), Type Certificate Data Sheets (TCDs), Summary of Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs), Civil Aeronautical Manual (CAMs), Civil Aviation Regulations (CARs), and the Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM).
